Alexey Karyakin was born on August 7, 1980 in Dresden, Germany.  In 2003, he graduated from East Kazakhstan State Technical University with a degree in Instrument Engineering, and in 2014-with a degree in Metallurgy.

In 2003, he started his career as a design engineer at Kazzinctech LLP.

In 2013, Alexey continued his career at Kazmintech Engineering LLP (formerly Kazzinctech) as the

chief project engineer. In 2022, he was appointed Chief Engineer of the organization. Over 19 years, he rose from a rank-and-file design engineer to one of the key leaders of the organization

Since February 2024, Alexey has headed the company Kazmintech Engineering LLP.

He is married and has a daughter and son. He enjoys mountain skiing, amateur cycling, playing musical instruments, and prefers active recreation.
