A large-scale reform of the methodological framework for determining the cost of construction is being implemented in the Republic of Kazakhstan

In the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Committee for Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan is carrying out a large-scale reform of the methodological basis for determining the cost of construction with the entry into force from January 2023. Specialists of the estimation department - Marina Viktorovna Rusakova (head of the estimation department) and Elena Vladimirovna Kuznetsova (chief specialist) were trained in Astana in ‘Scientific and Production Enterprise ABC-K’ LLP on ‘New methodological approaches to determine the cost of construction in the Republic of Kazakhstan, put into effect from January 2023’. The enacted ‘Procedure for determining the estimated cost of construction in the Republic of Kazakhstan’ significantly changes the relations of participants of the investment process in construction.
