Several years ago, after the start of mining at the Valley Mine near Ridder, its specialists began to think about how to solve the problem with ventilation in underground workings. The fact is that with the deepening of underground work, working conditions became more difficult, emissions from the operation of self-propelled equipment increased. Most of the emissions came from heavy dump trucks hauling broken rock and ore from the depths up one of the two parallel slopes. After much thought and sorting through various technological solutions, it was proposed to install a transport system at the mine from the Canadian company Rail-Veyor Technologies Global Inc.
